4 years agoJohnny Walker (18-5) relocated to SGB Ireland to be under the tutelage of coach John Kavanah, and it looks like the changes to his game paid off. Walker scored a first-round knockout over a very tough and physical Ryan Spann. The No. 11-ranked Walker was wobbled by No. 12 Spann's big left hand. Returning to his feet wobbled, Walker turned the tables and put Spann on the cage. After a series of hammerfists, the referee stopped the bout. Walker landed 26 significant strikes in less than three minutes of action. After a two-fight losing streak, Walker looked like a rejuvenated fighter in the Octagon under the services of Kavanah, the famed coach of Conor McGregor.
