4 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey (ankle) will have an MRI to discover the severity of the ankle injury he sustained in his team's loss to the Buccaneers. McCaffrey was on the sideline and wasn't ruled out, though he never returned to the game. The team is optimistic that it's not too serious, though the MRI will be telling. Hopefully the number-one fantasy player from 2019 will be able to suit up for fantasy managers as soon as Week 3 against the Chargers. If not, backup Mike Davis would see most of the work, with Trenton Cannon and possibly even receiver Curtis Samuel factoring in for some touches.--Tim Capurso
