4 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder/designated hitter Jorge Soler (oblique) was activated off of the injured list prior to Monday’s contest versus the Cardinals and right-hander Adam Wainwright, slotting immediately into the cleanup spot. Soler has been out of the fold since Sept. 5, but with a .456 SLG through his first 39 games, there’s plenty of upside potential over the final week. His 19.5% barrel rate this year leads the Majors, and with a 51.5% Hard Hit rate and 92.5 MPH average exit velocity, there’s lots of reasons to keep an eye on Soler ahead of 2021 drafts, as well.--Jesse Borek
