4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Sonny Gray was excellent in his first start since getting reinstated from the injured list. Gray had been sidelined with a mid-back strain since September 10. The veteran hurler allowed just one run over five innings in a 3-2 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers. He struck out eight and walked just one on the way to a no-decision. Gray has been a quality pitcher for the Reds this season, posting a 5-3 record, 3.73 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 68 strikeouts in 50 2/3 innings of work. Gray is likely to take on the Minnesota Twins in Cincy's regular-season finale on Sunday.--Matt T - RotoBaller
