David Dahl Lands On 45-Day Injured List
4 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder David Dahl (shoulder) was placed on the 45-day injured list prior to Wednesday’s contest versus San Francisco due to a strained right shoulder. It was essentially a lost year for Dahl, who scuffled mightily at the plate, delivering a .183/.222/.247 slash line without a home run in 24 contests. Maybe most concerning was that Dahl posted just a .410 OPS at Coors Field, where he has traditionally excelled. Sam Hilliard will likely absorb any at-bats that Dahl may have seen over the season’s final few games. The IL placement ends Dahl’s 2020 season with an eye toward ‘21, although his fantasy stock has likely fallen far enough that he will begin next year on the waiver wire in most season-long formats.
