Aaron Judge Absent From Thursday’s Lineup
4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge is being held out of Thursday’s starting nine against Toronto as the club attempts to keep him healthy heading into the postseason. Brett Gardner will be in the lineup, while Clint Frazier holds down right field in Judge’s absence. Judge has gone just 5-for-25 with five singles since returning from the injured list Sept. 16. His DFS price tag remains sky high due to the electric power display that he put on through the early portion of the season. His next chance to enter the lineup comes Friday at Yankee Stadium against Miami and right-hander Sandy Alcantara, which bodes well after having homered five times in six games in the Bronx in 2020.
