Mike Tauchman Enters Game In Eighth Inning Again On Friday
4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Mike Tauchman scored a run as a pinch-runner against the Marlins on Friday. Tauchman has now entered the game in the eighth inning in each of the team’s last four games and six of the last seven, and he’s been relegated to a bench role with the Yankees reaching full health in the outfield. That diminished role combined with Tauchman’s struggles at the plate this season (.648 OPS) makes the 29-year-old a DFS factor only if he draws a favorable start during the playoffs -- an unlikely but possible occurrence.
