Tyler Mahle Removed After 2 1/3 Innings
4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Tyler Mahle was removed from his start after just 2 1/3 innings in a 7-2 win over the Minnesota Twins on Friday. He struck out four, walked two, and allowed just one run in the outing, but with the Reds fighting for a spot in the playoffs, Mahle wasn't given any room for error. He finishes a strong regular season with a 2-2 record, 3.59 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, and 60 strikeouts in 47 2/3 innings of work.
