4 years agoNew York Mets infielder Andres Gimenez (undisclosed) exited the first game of Saturday’s doubleheader versus the Nationals after looking uncomfortable following a swing in his first at-bat. With just one day remaining in the 2020 regular season, any ailment may end Gimenez’s year. If his rookie campaign concludes, he will have slashed .265/.336/.402 with eight extra-base hits and eight stolen bases in 48 contests. He may push for everyday playing time ahead of ‘21, making him a name to keep an eye on heading into next year’s Spring Training.--Jesse Borek
