James Conner Tops 100 Yards, Finds End Zone In Week 3
4 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner carried the ball 18 times for 109 yards and a touchdown while adding four receptions for 40 yards in a 28-21 win over the Houston Texans in Week 3. Conner came up big for the Steelers for a second straight week as he has found the end zone in each of the past two games. The veteran running back has shaken off a Week 1 ankle injury to reclaim his role as the team's bell-cow back. Conner is settling in as a low-end RB1 in fantasy going forward, although fantasy gamers who are rostering him will want to keep Benny Snell Jr. on their squads thanks to Conner's injury-filled history. The Steelers face the Tennessee Titans on the road in Week 4.
