Sonny Gray Allows Two Runs In Season Finale
4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Sonny Gray allowed two runs over 5 1/3 innings in a 5-3 win over the Minnesota Twins on Sunday. Gray struck out four and walked four in his team's final game of the regular season. He finishes the 2020 campaign with a 5-3 record, 3.70 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and 72 strikeouts over 56 innings of work. Gray took a step forward in 2020, posting a career-high 11.57 strikeouts per nine innings. He will take the ball for the Reds in Game 3 of the Wild Card round of the playoffs, if the series makes it that far.
