Yu Darvish Seeks Continued Wrigley Field Success In Game 2
4 years agoChicago Cubs right-handed pitcher Yu Darvish will get the ball for Game 2 of Thursday’s wild-card series versus Miami, needing a win to keep his club alive in the postseason. He made nine starts at Wrigley Field during the regular season and struck out fewer than seven batters just once; during September, he averaged nine K’s per home outing. Miami posted the fourth-lowest OPS in the Majors against righties during the regular season (.673), and may also be without Starling Marte (hand/finger), further limiting the club’s offensive outlook. Darvish figures to be the kingpin of Thursday’s DFS slate, with fantasy managers needing to choose between getting exposure to his high-octane arm or fading him in favor of the streaking Marlins.
