4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans (ankle) caught seven of eight targets for 122 yards and a touchdown in a 38-31 win over the Chargers. Evans basically played the whole game on a bad ankle, but it sure didn't look like that. Los Angeles had no answers for the Brady-Evans connection, as the star wideout made a couple excellent grabs down the field. Fantasy managers should hope the ankle isn't too bad- though if he was able to put up a performance like this- it shouldn't be something too concerning. Next week's practice reports will tell the true story though. Evans will look to put the ankle issue behind him ahead of a Week 5 matchup with the Bears.--Tim Capurso
