4 years agoThe San Diego Padres announced starter Mike Clevinger (elbow) will start Game 1 of the Division Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. This is a welcome sign for the Friar faithful especially with starter Dinelson Lamet (biceps) left off the 28-man roster. Clevinger has registered a strong 2.84 ERA and 0.89 WHIP in four starts since joining San Diego but has been shut down since September 23 with biceps and elbow issues. The 29-year-old is a risky DFS proposition as he’ll probably be on a pitch count and is also at risk of injury reaggravation.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
