4 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Mike Davis has vaulted into fantasy consideration in nearly every season-long league due to the injury to Christian McCaffrey (ankle). But following the injury to Reggie Bonnafon (ankle), Davis and Trenton Cannon are slated to be the only two running backs on the team’s 53-man roster versus the Falcons on Sunday. Davis played 55 snaps against Arizona last Sunday, getting 21 touches for the second consecutive week. But Atlanta’s defensive woes, when combined with Carolina’s thin backfield, could mean that Davis sees a considerable workload. He is a definite must-start in season-long formats, while holding interest in both cash and GPP contests for DFS.--Jesse Borek
