4 years agoHendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott won last year's NASCAR Cup Series race at the Charlotte Roval, leading 35 laps on his way to the win. This year, Elliott will roll off the grid second beside Denny Hamlin, who has struggled here in the past. The starting grid could set up for some early laps led for Elliott and this 9 car, and while there's some risk for starting someone this high in what could be a rainy Sunday race, Elliott has a great chance to be one of the dominant cars in the race.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
