4 years agoMark Perez immediately put the pressure on Dricus Du Plessis straight out of the gates on Saturday, but eventually the tables were turned and Perez ate a left hook, which knocked him out 3:22 into the first round. In that time frame, Perez was able to land 16 significant strikes. With the loss, Perez has now lost three of his last four fights in the UFC. Half of his 12 career wins have come by submission, so if he's tasked with a lesser foe, the potential is there for him to save his UFC career with a submission victory.
