4 years agoEdson Barboza earned a dominant unanimous decision in Saturday's co-main event, defeating the rising star of Finland, Makwan Amirkhani. The first round was a feeling-out process, but the action picked up in the second round. Barboza showcased his superior striking ability, flooring Amirkhani twice. Though he was taken down three out of six times, the takedowns never put Barboza in a really compromising position. Statistically, Barboza landed 32 significant strikes (34 total strikes).
