4 years agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins (hamstring) has been officially deemed out for Monday’s game versus Buffalo. The hamstring injury that Watkins sustained last week may keep him on the shelf for an extended period, but the team was at least considering the idea that he could return as soon as Monday. Without Watkins in the mix, Mecole Hardman and Demarcus Robinson figure to see an uptick in usage and could be solid last-minute pivots in season-long formats for those who may get burned by a late absence Sunday. The nature of Watkins’ injury likely means that fantasy managers can allow him to sit on the waiver wire until his return, although it’s worth monitoring his status in the weeks ahead.--Jesse Borek
