Michael Pittman Jr. Runs On Turf Saturday During Rehab
4 years agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. (calf) is on the rehab trail after undergoing surgery to help alleviate compartment leg syndrome, and he tweeted Saturday that he was able to run on turf, which is surely a step in the right direction as it pertains to his return. Ineligible to return until at least Nov. 1 against Detroit, Pittman would be a solid addition for the Indy offense, having brought in nine receptions for 73 yards over three games prior to his injury. The combination of the Colts’ run-heavy offense alongside the roles of T.Y. Hilton and Zach Pascal likely caps Pittman’s value, though, so until he has a firm return date, and an increase in role, fantasy managers are likely best served searching elsewhere for production.
