Gus Edwards Finds End Zone In Week 6
4 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards turned 14 carries into 26 yards and a touchdown in a 30-28 win over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6. Edwards saw some extra work pushed onto his plate after starter Mark Ingram II left during the second quarter with an ankle injury. His touchdown run went for seven yards to cap off a drive at the end of the first quarter. Edwards played ahead of rookie J.K. Dobbins after Ingram's injury, seemingly making him the preferred waiver add if Ingram's ankle were to cause him to miss time. Edwards and the Ravens are on bye in Week 7 before they take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8.
