J.K. Dobbins Does Little In Week 6
4 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back J.K. Dobbins carried the ball nine times for 28 yards and added two receptions for a yard in a 30-28 win over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6. The rookie back ripped off a 16-yard run in the game but was unable to do much else, despite starter Mark Ingram II leaving during the second quarter with an ankle injury and not returning to action. The Ravens opted to use Gus Edwards as the lead back after Ingram's injury while keeping Dobbins in a change of pace role. Dobbins has plenty of upside but the workload split in the Baltimore backfield makes him a low-end flex play on a weekly basis. That being said, he's worth a waiver add in leagues if Ingram's ankle issue ends up being a multi-week injury. Baltimore is on bye in Week 7 before they take on the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8.
