4 years agoCarolina Panthers kicker Joey Slye faces a decent matchup against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 8 on Thursday night. Slye has made at least three field goals in two of his last three games and faces an Atlanta defense that has allowed an average of about eight fantasy points per game to opposing kickers. There are weather concerns for this game, however, as wind and rain are supposed to be factors throughout the contest. That certainly could put a damper on Slye's fantasy upside, though he should still be a fine starting option.--Tim Capurso
