4 years agoHouston Texans tight end Darren Fells enjoyed two strong games in the absence of fellow tight end Jordan Akins (ankle, concussion) before putting up a dud in Week 7 before his team's bye. Akins is expected to return in Week 9 against the Jaguars, who have been very friendly to opposing tight ends. Akins held the edge in snaps to Fells, though the latter has three touchdown catches this year and has been more of a red-zone presence. Clearly, this is a situation to avoid wherever possible for fantasy purposes, despite the strong matchup. Fells is the best bet, though he'll be a touchdown-dependent TE2.--Tim Capurso
