James Conner Disappears In Week 9 Win
4 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner carried the ball nine times for 22 yards and lost two yards on his two receptions in a 24-19 win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 9. Conner was primed to have a big afternoon running against a leaky Dallas run defense but instead the Steelers got behind and wound up throwing 42 times. While he didn't get the job done, Conner remains the clear-cut starting running back in Pittsburgh. He will bounce back in Week 10 in a plus matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.
