4 years agoClaudia Gadelha ran into the roadblock known as Yan Xiaonan in Saturday's main-card opener. Gadelha showed she wanted to get the bout to the ground, but she was unable to implement her will, only landing two of her 10 attempted takedowns. Yan also ended up collecting more of the strikes. Gadelha was only able to get 36 significant strikes (84 total strikes) through 15 minutes of action. Both of Gadelha's takedowns were landed in the first round, which is arguably the only round she took on the scorecards. Though her two-fight winning streak has been snapped, Gadelha has finished half of her 18 career wins, which always makes her viable to roster in the right spot.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
