4 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks led the team in receiving yards, with 85, in a 27-20 victory over New England. Cooks had seen at least eight targets in five straight games before this one, though he made up for a drop in targets with a big play. His 44-yard reception in the first quarter helped set up Houston's first points of the day. Cooks has exceeded 60 receiving yards in five of his last six games, as he's become an every-week starter in the Texans' pass-friendly offense. The former Ram could see a slight boost in targets moving forward if Randall Cobb (foot) and Kenny Stills (leg) are forced to miss some time.--Tim Capurso
