4 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley hauled in five of nine targets for 90 receiving yards against the Saints. It was a tough loss for Atlanta- and the offense struggled at times without Julio Jones (hamstring), who left with an injury. Still, it was impressive that Ridley played as well as he did. The 25-year old will be another week removed from his foot injury and should be 100 percent as he potentially assumes the role of alpha wideout. The team will know more about Jones' status on Monday. Still, Ridley should be viewed as a WR1 regardless of the injury status of his teammate.--Tim Capurso
