4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running backs Raheem Mostert (ankle) and Jeff Wilson Jr. (ankle) were both designated to return from Injured Reserve on Tuesday, making it possible that either could take the field Sunday against the Rams. Mostert has served as San Francisco's lead back when healthy this season, having amassed 65 yards on 17 carries against Los Angeles back in Week 6, the last time that he took the field. Upon getting the green light to return to action, he should be rostered with confidence all season-long leagues. Wilson's status is a bit more shaky, as his fantasy intrigue is directly related to the health of the rest of the 49ers backfield. Tevin Coleman (knee), Mostert and Jerick McKinnon all figure to be ahead of Wilson on the depth chart when healthy, thereby limiting his touches once he's officially back in the mix.--Jesse Borek
