4 years agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver John Brown (ankle) had already been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Chargers, but he will now miss at least the next three contests due to a high ankle sprain which has landed him on injured reserve. Brown had been finding his groove within the offense over the past two games, having racked up 14 catches for 171 yards in that span. Stefon Diggs is the likeliest candidate to absorb Brown's targets within the offense, but Cole Beasley, Gabriel Davis, Isaiah McKenzie, Andre Roberts, and even Jake Kumerow could all be in line for larger workloads over the next three weeks. With Brown's potential remaining games slated to come against Denver, New England, and Miami, he can safely be dropped to the waiver wire in all season-long formats.--Jesse Borek
