4 years agoCarolina Panthers tight end Ian Thomas caught one of two targets for four receiving yards in a 28-27 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Thomas has had a quiet season, as he has yet to exceed 30 receiving yards. However, teammate D.J. Moore (leg) had to be helped off the field after suffering a non-contact leg injury, which could open up some targets in the offense. If Moore does miss time coming out of the team's Week 13 bye, Robby Anderson and Curtis Samuel would see the lion's share of the targets, though Thomas could also factor in. Even still, he's probably only worth picking up by those desperate at the tight end position.--Tim Capurso
