4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles rookie quarterback Jalen Hurts is worth a stash in deeper formats, especially in leagues that start two quarterbacks each week. Hurts has yet to be on the field for more than seven snaps this season, but there are strong rumblings that the Eagles are unhappy with starter Carson Wentz. Even though head coach Doug Pederson has given Wentz the old vote of confidence, anyone who has watched a single quarter of Eagles football this season knows he's just not playing at a high level. Hurts may not be able to do any better given the issues all over the Eagles offense, but Pederson may not be able to keep trotting Wentz out there if he keeps looking the way he has been. Hurts should be nowhere near any starting lineups yet, but fantasy managers with a spare bench spot could give him a look.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
