Justin Herbert Looks To Continue Strong Rookie Season
4 years agoLos Angeles Chargers rookie quarterback Justin Herbert will face a New England Patriots Defense that is allowing opposing signal-callers to throw for 238 yards and 1.4 touchdowns per game in Week 13. Herbert is coming off of his first game without multiple touchdowns since Week 3, but he still provided fantasy managers with a solid performance last Sunday. Herbert got running back Austin Ekeler back in Week 12, and that should only help him and the Chargers offense moving forward. Even with Ekeler back, the Chargers remained pass-heavy with 52 passing attempts. The Chargers have thrown the ball over 40 times in six of the rookie's 10 starts, and it doesn't appear that will change on Sunday. Managers should feel safe about firing up Herbert as a QB2 with QB1 upside on Sunday.
