4 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) has been dealing with the flu but is expected to suit up on Sunday against the Broncos. Edwards-Helaire didn't practice on Thursday or Friday, though the team made it clear that he doesn't need practice reps to play. The rookie back reportedly felt better late Saturday night than he did at any point during the week, shining some optimism on his status for the contest against Denver's 26th-ranked run defense. The team will still see how he feels upon arriving at the stadium, but if active, Edwards-Helaire should be looked at as an upside RB2 with the Chiefs favored by 13.5 points.--Tim Capurso
