4 years agoAtlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan completed 19 of 39 passes for 273 yards and one touchdown in a 21-16 loss to the Saints. Ryan got his favorite target back in Julio Jones but was unable to get much going until he salvaged his day with a late, fourth-quarter touchdown pass to Russell Gage. In Ryan's defense, the New Orleans defense is not what it was at the beginning of the season, as the unit has gotten healthier and more effective. The veteran signal-caller will get a good chance to redeem himself next week against a Chargers Defense that struggles against quarterbacks.--Tim Capurso
