Emmanuel Moseley, K’Waun Williams Out For Monday’s Game
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers cornerbacks Emmanuel Moseley (hamstring) and K'Waun Williams (ankle) have been ruled out for Monday's game against the Bills, creating a chasm in the team's secondary when it comes to covering the slot. Moseley has been an integral member of the 49ers Defense in 2020, starting eight games and accruing 46 tackles with eight passes defended. Williams has not suited up since Week 9 due to persistent injuries. The absence of both paves the way for Cole Beasley -- who leads the NFL in receiving yards out of the slot -- to potentially see more targets come his way. The San Francisco defense opened the year as a high-end unit, but injuries have constantly subverted them along the way, with Week 13 being no different.
