Antonio Gibson Out For Rest Of Monday’s Game With Toe Injury
4 years agoWashington Football Team running back Antonio Gibson (toe) will not return for the second half of Monday's game against the Steelers due to a toe injury that he sustained earlier in the contest. Gibson carried the ball twice for 14 yards prior to his departure. While J.D. McKissic has been often utilized alongside Gibson, Peyton Barber appears to have taken over primary ball-carrying duties in the second half, rushing for a touchdown during the third quarter. Gibson entered the week with a staggering eight rushing TDs in his past five games, but that stretch will subside as fantasy managers now eye a Week 14 matchup versus San Francisco wearily. The turnaround will be quick, so season-long Gibson fantasy managers may want to snag Barber off the waiver wire when possible as a precaution.
