4 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees (ribs) is eligible to return to action as soon as Sunday's game versus Philadelphia, but per head coach Sean Payton, the likely future Hall of Famer is still without a timetable to take the field. Payton noted that Brees will continue his rehab, although that does not necessarily indicate he'll be ready to play in less than a week. In Brees' absence, Taysom Hill has looked the part of starting quarterback, giving the Saints little reason to rush Brees back into action, especially after having clinched a playoff spot following a Week 13 win. The severity of Brees' injury will also likely play a part in how aggressive New Orleans will be in getting him back on the field, so fantasy managers will want to check back for news on when the veteran signal caller will return to practice.--Jesse Borek
