J.D. McKissic Hauls In 10 Catches Monday
4 years agoWashington Football Team running back J.D. McKissic led the team in targets and receptions with 10 apiece, which he turned into 70 yards in a win over the Steelers on Monday. McKissic added eight rushing yards on five carries, but the running back has been quarterback Alex Smith's favorite target in the passing game. Starting running back Antonio Gibson (toe) left the game early and may miss time. If Gibson is out next week, McKissic could see a few more carries, but most of the work will likely go to Peyton Barber, who had 14 carries Monday. McKissic has a steady role in the passing game and is a starting-worthy player in PPR leagues. He'll be an attractive fantasy option next week against San Francisco in all formats, especially if Gibson cannot play.
