Hayden Hurst Logs Limited Practice Session Thursday
4 years agoAtlanta Falcons tight end Hayden Hurst (ankle) was limited during Thursday's practice, putting his status for Sunday's contest against the Chargers up in the air. Hurst was able to suit up last week, so as long as he doesn't take a significant step back during Friday's practice, he should ultimately get the green light to take the field. Even if he does play, his production in 2020 has fluctuated wildly, having logged one or fewer receptions in two of his last three games. Not having found the end zone since Week 6, Hurst is a low end TE1 option that should only be utilized in deep season-long leagues at this stage. With that being said, Los Angeles has yielded nine receiving touchdowns to opposing tight ends this year, tied for the second-most in the NFL. Check back to get the final word on Hurst's status before kickoff Sunday.
