Giants Defense A Risky Start versus Cardinals
4 years agoThe New York Giants Defense has fueled their resurgence to the top of the division, but they remain a risky option in fantasy. New York's defense has been good at point prevention, but are still just middle-of-the-pack in terms of sacks and turnovers. How well New York performs will come down to two factors: Blake Martinez (back) suiting up to try and stop Kyler Murray, and how well star-cornerback James Bradberry fares in coverage on DeAndre Hopkins. Arizona is a challenging matchup, but New York gets the benefit of an early kickoff with the Cardinals traveling west to east. If Martinez plays, New York is an intriguing low-cost option in DFS but redraft managers fighting for the playoffs should be able to find a safer defense to start.
