4 years agoThe Miami Dolphins have placed running back Myles Gaskin on the reserve/COVID-19 list, meaning he will not play in Week 14 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Gaskin's absence means that the team will turn to some combination of DeAndre Washington, Patrick Laird, and Elijah McGuire to fill out their running back corps this weekend. While it is unclear exactly how the team will split up the touches, Laird has mostly operated as a third-down back over his career. Washington has flashed at times when given a chance, including during a short stint at the end of the 2019 season while he was with the Las Vegas Raiders. All of Washington, McGuire, and Laird are worth a look on waivers with Washington the preferred add, but none are safe starts considering the lack of clarity in the pecking order.--Matt T - RotoBaller
