4 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey (shoulder, quad) won't play in Week 14 against the Broncos. This was expected after he reportedly tweaked his quad during a workout, though it's nice to get the news as we inch closer to kickoff. Mike Davis will lead the backfield against Denver and should put up RB2 numbers, though he lacks the upside he had earlier in the year. As for McCaffrey, it's been a lost season for last year's overall RB1, who has been limited to just three games this year. The star halfback hopes to return in 2020, but it will be a bittersweet return for those who have him rostered.--Tim Capurso
