Giants Embrace Daniel Jones As Starter In Week 15
4 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones does not have an official injury designation at this stage for Sunday's matchup against Cleveland, but it's rather plain to see that his hamstring injury is still a factor. Head coach Joe Judge said, "we'll play [Jones]," as long as the team believed him healthy enough to be on the field, despite having Colt McCoy as a healthier option. Jones has not tossed a passing touchdown since Week 9, and has now delivered seven games without a passing TD this season. He is set to face Cleveland and Baltimore over the next two weeks, which when factored in with his injury predicament, makes him an extremely unappealing fantasy asset, even in two-quarterback season-long leagues. At this stage, his starting job seems secure unless he takes a significant step backward from a health perspective in practice this week.
