4 years agoLas Vegas Raiders quarterback Marcus Mariota had a solid performance after being forced to relieve Derek Carr after Carr appeared to injure his groin in the first quarter. Mariota threw for 226 yards with one touchdown and one interception. He also showed his dual-threat ability, rushing for 88 yards and a touchdown. This was the first time Mariota played since Week 6 of 2019, and he certainly showed that he is one of the better backup quarterbacks in the league. Mariota will get the start next week if Carr is unable to go. Although, it will be a difficult matchup against a stingy Dolphins Defense.--Connor Wege
