Darius Slay Will Miss Sunday’s Contest
4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles cornerback Darius Slay (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Arizona, as he has not yet passed the league's concussion protocol. Slay will not travel with the team for the game, leaving an enormous void in the secondary, significantly hampering the Eagles Defense appeal, while also heightening that of DeAndre Hopkins. Slay has compiled 55 combined tackles and five passes defended in 13 games this year, with Michael Jacquet likely to reprise a larger role in his absence. With explosive offensive firepower on the Cardinals' offense, season-long fantasy managers relying on Philadelphia's defense will want to look elsewhere without the team's top corner option available. Slay's next chance to return to action comes in Week 16 against Dallas.
