Duke Johnson, C.J. Prosise Ruled Out For Sunday’s Contest
4 years agoHouston Texans running backs Duke Johnson (neck) and C.J. Prosise (ankle) will both be absent from Sunday's game versus the Colts. Their absence leaves the Houston backfield extremely thin, but also paves the way for David Johnson to serve as the unabated bell cow. While Duke Johnson has retained a modest role even with David back in the fold, neither Duke nor Prosise merits much fantasy intrigue at this stage. Even with Buddy Howell serving as the only other active rusher, David Johnson has a tough path to success Sunday with the Colts Defense having yielded fewer than 100 yards rushing per game in 2020. Johnson found the end zone in his last outing against Indianapolis in Week 13 and should receive nearly all goal line RB carries Sunday, giving him an elevated chance to rack up another score.
