4 years agoNew York Jets kicker Sam Ficken (groin) has been activated off of injured reserve, paving the way for him to potentially serve as the team's kicker Sunday against the Rams. There had been much activity from New York in the kicking game throughout the week, with Chase McLaughlin having been claimed off of waivers and Sergio Castillo released. Ficken had been perfect on extra points prior to his latest appearance back in Week 11 where he missed two extra points. Despite his marked improvement in field-goal percentage in 2020 (90 percent), Ficken presents a finicky fantasy asset due to the nature of New York's underdog status Sunday against a stout Los Angeles defense and in their remaining two matchups versus Cleveland and New England.--Jesse Borek
