4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (foot) has a chance to return this season. The 49ers opened Kittle's 21-day practice window ahead of their Week 15 contest with the Cowboys, though the star tight end won't suit up this week. While Kittle is likely close to a return, the team is inclined to sit him for the final two games if they have nothing to play for. If the 49ers lose to Dallas in Week 15, it will be increasingly likely that the team shuts down Kittle so that he's healthy for the 2021 campaign. Despite a down year, the veteran tight end should remain a top selection at his position in drafts next year.--Tim Capurso
