4 years agoCleveland Browns cornerback Denzel Ward (calf) has been given the thumbs up to play in Sunday's contest versus the Giants after having been sidelined for the previous three games. Ward's return is a massive addition for fantasy managers eyeing the Browns Defense, as Ward has served as Cleveland's top corner this year, having defended a career-high 15 passes through his first 10 games, while having accrued 38 tackles, two interceptions, and a forced fumble. His presence on the defensive side of the ball could cut into the fantasy upside of Giants receivers Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton, as Ward has played 97 percent or higher of the team's snaps in nine of his 10 appearances in 2020.--Jesse Borek
